ISBA Mock Trial Invitational 2016

Teams from 38 high schools from throughout Illinois participated in the 34th annual Illinois State Bar Association High School Mock Trial Invitational on April 2-3 at the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign. ISBA President Umberto S. Davi and members of the ISBA Law Related Education Committee served as volunteers to rate the students' performance. Elmhurst’s Timothy Christian High School was declared the winner and will represent Illinois at the National High School Mock Trial Championship in Boise, Idaho. St. Charles North came in second and received the Donna Schechter Award for the highest team average on the Written Law Exam. Chicago Christian of Palos Heights placed third.
