Lathrop Gage’s Chicago Office Welcomes Danielle Twait to Business Litigation Team
Lathrop Gage has announced that Danielle N. Twait joined the firm’s Chicago office as Of Counsel.
Twait began her legal career with Lathrop Gage 10 years ago and rejoins the firm’s Business Litigation team.
Over the past decade while working at both boutique and national firms, Twait has counseled and litigated on behalf of clients on a wide range of matters. She has provided legal counseling to small and large businesses, not-for profit corporations and trade associations on labor and employment matters, trademark and copyright protections and contractual issues; and she has represented clients in federal and state courts across the country in diverse litigation cases including defamation defense, intellectual property disputes, employment related matters, class actions, gaming tax litigation and other business-related disputes. Twait’s legal career began in the St. Louis office of Lathrop Gage; she then transferred to the firm’s Chicago office and has continued to practice in Chicago ever since.
Twait received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in 2008. She received her bachelor's degree in community health, with highest honors, from the University of Illinois in Champaign in 2005.
