Submit a Video With Advice for Fellow Attorneys
The ISBA knows that these are uncertain times. With the governor’s stay-at-home order extended until the end of April, it’s more important now than ever that we stay connected.
The ISBA is asking interested members to submit video clips of themselves offering other attorneys advice during the COVID-19 pandemic. That can be professional advice, personal advice, or even tips for maintaining a work-life balance with the entire family at home.
We’ll feature an assortment of the clips in a video montage, which will be posted on the ISBA website and shared through our social media channels.
In your video, please do the following:
- Introduce yourself (please say your name, where you practice, and where you live).
- Share your advice.
- Wrap up by emphasizing we're all in this together.
A few tips on creating quality video with your phone or device:
- If you’re using a phone to record, record in landscape mode (sideways).
- Place the camera at eye level or slightly above. This will slim the face and look more personable to viewers.
- Position yourself parallel to a large soft light source like a window. This will eliminate ugly shadows and make your skin look smooth.
To submit your videos, simply upload your files in our Dropbox folder. The deadline for submissions is Friday, April 10.
And remember, we’re all in this together!
