Jackson Lewis Congratulates Sarah J. Gasperini as Newly Elevated Principal
Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Sarah J. Gasperini has been elevated to Principal in the firm’s Chicago office. Sarah represents management exclusively in a variety of employment and labor law matters before state and federal courts and agencies.
Sarah advises employers in defending union organizing campaigns, unfair labor practices, and representation cases. She also assists employers in maintaining union-free workplaces, and counsels them in successfully preserving union-free status. In addition, Sarah advises employers on matters involving labor contract administration issues and collective bargaining. She has briefed petitions for review of National Labor Relations Board decisions before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and defended 10(j) injunction proceedings in district court.
Sarah also counsels clients on several areas of employment law, including employee handbooks, discrimination and harassment based on race, color, sex, age, religion, national origin and disability, disability accommodation, and retaliation, including retaliatory discharge.
Sarah is a member of the American Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association. She earned her J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law and her B.A. from Pitzer College.
