Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr Partner Toby Eveland Appointed Managing Partner of Chicago Office
Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP today announced that Partner William T. (“Toby”) Eveland has been named Managing Partner of the firm’s Chicago, Ill. office. The Managing Partner is responsible for the office’s budget, internal communications and events, and overseeing the firm’s involvement in the local business and legal community. Mr. Eveland looks to build on the firm’s recent successes and will be particularly focused on recruiting, retaining, and advancing top talent, as well as ensuring and promoting the safety and good health of all team members as the work environment gradually transitions from remote to more in-person later in the year.

In his litigation practice, Mr. Eveland focuses on tort and class action defense, and complex business disputes. He works across numerous industries, including higher education, municipal and government, finance, and insurance. Given his track record and savvy in the courtroom, he is often retained by clients when their reputation is on the line. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Eveland is dedicated to causes that advance equality and has led the Firm’s Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee nationally. He is a passionate civil rights advocate and has received numerous awards and recognition for his philanthropic work.
Mr. Eveland earned his B.S., magna cum laude, from University of North Alabama, and his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
