Freeborn Welcomes Three New Corporate Attorneys to Chicago Office as Part of Firm’s Continued Strategic Growth
Freeborn & Peters LLP welcomes Amanda C. Andrews, Jerome R. Crabtree, and Robert A. Sikorski to the firm’s Chicago office as attorneys in the Corporate Practice Group, with Amanda and Jerome also joining the firm’s Trust and Estates team.

A member of Freeborn’s Corporate Practice Group and Trust and Estates Team, Amanda C. Andrews is an associate in the firm’s Chicago office. She has experience representing ultra-high-net-worth multinational individuals, families, closely-held businesses, private foundations, private trust companies and family offices, providing them with tax and estate planning services. Amanda also advises clients regarding all tax and legal matters related to charitable planning, personal and business holdings as well as marital planning and asset protection strategies. Additionally, she represents art collectors on a range of matters from acquisitions and collection management to planning for intergenerational transfers.
Prior to joining Freeborn, Amanda served as Private Client Counsel at Kozusko Harris Duncan. She was also previously an Associate in Wealth Planning and Tax Strategy at The Northern Trust Company.
Jerome R. Crabtree is an attorney in Freeborn’s Chicago office and a member of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group and Trust and Estates Team. He has experience counseling clients on entity formation, corporate structure, and other corporate governance matters. Prior to joining Freeborn, Jerome was an Associate at Ziliak Law, where he represented several funds launching and doing business in a variety of states, drafted business plans, employee handbooks, independent contractor agreements, non-disclosure and non-compete agreements, and other corporate documents for LLCs and corporations.
In addition to his experience at his previous firm, Jerome worked as an extern for the Honorable Nathaniel R. Howse, Jr. in the First District of the Illinois Appellate Court, and as a student clinician in Loyola’s Business Law Clinic. He received his B.A. from University of Iowa, and his J.D. from Loyola University.
A member of Freeborn’s Corporate Practice Group, Robert A. Sikorski is an associate in the Chicago office. He provides strategic and informed business legal advice to companies throughout their life cycles. Robert advises lenders, borrowers, lessors, and other stakeholders on protecting their property interests in aviation and railcar assets, including UCC, Surface Transportation Board, and Cape Town Convention filings. His experience includes U.S. and cross-border sale, purchase, financing and lease transactions involving aircraft and railcars. He also has experience with asset-backed securitization transactions including due diligence, drafting ancillary documents and preparing and coordinating SEC filings.
Prior to joining Freeborn, Robert was an Associate at Vedder Price, P.C., where he also served as a Law Clerk and Summer Associate. He also previously served as an Intern for the City of South Bend Legal Department and as an Assistant Paralegal at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP prior to attending law school. Robert received his B.A. from Fordham University (magna cum laude) and his J.D. from University of Notre Dame School of Law (magna cum laude).
