Freeborn & Peters LLP has announced that Bianca E. Ciarroni, an associate in the firm’s Chicago office, has been appointed co-chair of the Chicago/Midwest chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) Network of Women (NOW), beginning in January 2020.
The TMA NOW is an affinity group within the TMA, created to foster female leadership by creating the premier business development and networking group for women in the turnaround community. TMA NOW aims to provide substantive educational programming and networking opportunities to promote career growth and help women break through the glass ceiling. The TMA is a leading trade organization in the corporate restructuring, renewal, and corporate health space. Established in 1988, the TMA has almost 10,000 members in 53 chapters worldwide, including 33 chapters in North America.
The 2019 Joint Midyear Meeting in Rosemont this year will feature a shuttle service to accommodate holiday shoppers who are interested in exploring the area.
The service will run from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, and will leave the Westin O’Hare every 30 minutes, allowing for plenty of opportunities to visit the nearby Fashion Outlets of Chicago, the newest must-shop destination when visiting the Chicago area.

Attorney Mike Knippen has been selected the new firm chair of Traub Lieberman.
Knippen was elected by the firm's management committee after Rich Traub, founder and managing partner, transitioned to chair emeritus.
