Attorneys Annette K. Corrigan and James F. Zanayed recently joined the Andrew Cores Family Law Group, a division of Esp Kreuzer Cores LLP. Both are working as associate attorneys out of the firm’s Wheaton office and focus on family law.
Attorney Annette Corrigan received her juris doctor from Marquette University. After practicing in the Kansas City area, she began practicing law in Illinois in 1991 at a law firm in Naperville, where Corrigan was part of establishing the firm’s first litigation team.
DuPage County divorce attorney Chuck Roberts recently announced reopening of his law firm, Roberts PC, in Wheaton, Illinois. Located for more than thirty years at the Gateway to Wheaton, the firm has reopened its offices at 104 E. Roosevelt Road, Suite 202 in the Wheaton Professional Center.
Chuck Roberts has represented clients in the DuPage County area since 1983 in cases involving divorce, family law, civil litigation and securities fraud.
Attorney Roberts has leveraged his extensive experience in business litigation into a unique niche in the divorce field protecting business owners, professionals, sports figures and officers and directors of publicly traded companies and their spouses.
Patrick Grim recently joined Tomasik Kotin Kasserman as a trial lawyer with its practice. Grim joined the Chicago personal injury firm as a law clerk in December 2016 before starting as an attorney in November 2017.
In his career, Grim has worked on a range of complex civil litigation matters including multi-district CTE concussion litigation against the NFL and NHL. He intends to focus his practice on cases involving wrongful death, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, premises liability, and automobile collisions.
Grim received his juris doctor from Loyola University in Chicago in 2017. While in law school, he was a Corboy Fellow in Trial Advocacy, captain of Loyola’s nationally ranked mock trial team, and served as Executive Director of the school’s Mock Trial Board. Academically, Grim was a CALI recipient and five-time member of the school’s Dean’s List. Outside of the classroom, he taught pre-law classes at Hubbard High School on the City’s southwest side and helped coach the students to a city-wide mock trial championship.
Alexandra C. Brinkmeier joined Kathryn L. Harry & Assocaitions, P.C. last fall. A resident of Elmhurst, Illinois, Brinkmeier joined the law firm in September, 2017 as an associate attorney.
Oak Brook, Illinois, lawyer Alexandra Brinkmeier received her Juris Doctor in 2016 from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. She previously earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2013.
Brinkmeier worked for a year as an Associate Attorney in Crystal Lake, Illinois. She also served as a certified mediator for the Law Offices at IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law and as a judicial extern for the Honorable Helaine L. Berger (Ret.), Associate Judge of Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois.
Wheaton law firm Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC recently hired Amanda M. Zannoni as a new associate. Zannoni is a May 2017 graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law, where she received her juris doctor and a certificate in estate planning. She was sworn into the Illinois State Bar in November 2017 and practices estate planning and family law. While at Syracuse, she worked for the Elder Law Clinic and represented elderly clients in the areas of family law, estate planning, and elder law.
The law firms of Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice (BSCR) and Williams Venker & Sanders (WVS) will be merging July 1, 2018.
The merged firm will continue to be known as Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice and will be headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. Scott Kreamer will remain managing member, responsible for the day-to-day operations and long-term planning of the firm. Mike Hunter will serve as the manager in charge of the merged firm’s St. Louis and Illinois offices.
