Henne is an associate in Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP’s Libertyville office. He focuses his practice on construction litigation, fire and explosion litigation, general trial practice, insurance, medical negligence and healthcare, and real estate litigation. Mr. Henne joins Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP from the Lake County State's Attorneys Office where he was an Assistant State's Attorney. He received his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2002 and his B.S. from Northeastern Illinois University in 1994. Kelly A. McDermott joins Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP’s Chicago office from Hall Prangle & Schoonveld LLC, where she was also an associate. She focuses her practice on medical negligence and healthcare. Ms. McDermott received her J.D. as well as a Certificate in Health Law Studies from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2007 and her B.A.

Reagan has opened his own office after nearly 30 years with Herbolsheimer, Lannon, Henson, Duncan and Reagan, P.C. Reagan practices law throughout the state - including Chicago - and has argued cases before the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the state supreme and appellate courts. He concentrates on appeals and also handles civil litigation and critical motions. Reagan remains in the same office space and has the same phone numbers from his time with the Herbolsheimer firm. His email address is mreagan@reagan-law.com. Reagan graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 1972 and was admitted to the Illinois bar that same year. He has served as chairman of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Tort Law Section Council and is a past president of the Appellate Lawyers Association. He served on the Supreme Court's Pattern Civil Jury Instructions Committee for a number of years, including time as Reporter for the Committee. He was the recipient of ISBA's Matthew Maloney Tradition of Excellence Award in 2009. Teaming with ISBA Past President Tim Eaton, he presents an annual review of Illinois Supreme Court opinions for ISBA members and helps write same-day reviews of Illinois Supreme Court civil opinions for the Illinois Lawyer Now online publication.

[caption id="attachment_17228" align="alignright" width="160" caption="Beth Jensen"][/caption] The law firm of Hodges, Loizzi, Eisenhammer, Rodick & Kohn LLP, has announced the opening of an office in Peoria.  The law firm, whose 30 lawyers represent over 150 school districts and municipalities throughout Illinois, currently has offices in Arlington Heights and Belleville. “We are committed to serving our clients,” said Robert Kohn, managing partner of the firm.  “We recently have been retained by Peoria Public Schools District 150 on several projects.  The Peoria office will allow us to better serve not only the Peoria School District but all of our clients in Central Illinois.” Joining the firm is Elizabeth Jensen, who will be the partner in charge of the Peoria office.  Ms.

John K. Kim has joined the Bloomington firm Livingston, Barger, Brandt & Schroeder. His practice includes defending health care professionals and institutions, advising employers in labor, employment, and immigration matters, and representing businesses and financial institutions in commercial litigation. He currently serves the ISBA as Vice-Chair of the Standing Committee on Judicial Evaluations - Outside Cook County. Kim practiced for the past five years in Peoria, most recently at Howard & Howard Attorneys PLLC.
