Karen McNulty Enright, a resident of Elmhurst, has been elected secretary of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA). She is a partner with McNabola Law Group in Chicago.
Long active in the ISBA, Enright was first elected to the ISBA Board of Governors in 2010 and re- elected in 2013. She is a member of its Assembly and has been active on numerous committees. Enright received the ISBA Board of Governors Award in 2009.
A past president of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, Enright was named by Chicago magazine as one of the top 50 women lawyers in Illinois, and, in 2012, was selected for the Top 10 Women Lawyers in Illinois by Leading Lawyers Network. In 2013, she was among an esteemed group of five attorneys selected by Crain’s Chicago Business as their “next generation of top personal injury attorneys.”
Enright has provided pro bono work for Chicago Volunteer Legal Services and the Illinois Department of Children and Families Services, among others. She is also a chair-qualified arbitrator for the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration program.
Enright received her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 1992 and her B.A. cum laude from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, in 1989.
