Stephen Bell joins Grady Pilgrim
Chicago law firm Grady Pilgrim Christakis Bell LLP announced today that attorney Stephen Bell, one of the founding partners of the Chicago law firm Goldberg Kohn Bell Black Rosenbloom & Moritz, Ltd., has joined Grady Pilgrim as a partner.
Bell chaired Goldberg Kohn's Real Estate Group from 1996 to 2007, and served on its Management Committee for many years until his recent resignation. Grady Pilgrim is a Chicago-based law firm founded in October 2008 by four former partners of the Chicago law firm Arnstein & Lehr LLP.
Bell received his law degree, cum laude, from Harvard University in 1969 and his A.B. in history, with high honors, from Wheaton College in 1966.
Stephen's move to Grady Pilgrim unites him with his son, Brandon Bell, one of Grady Pilgrim's founders.
"From both a personal and professional standpoint, I'm thrilled to have the chance to work with my dad," said Brandon Bell. "It is very fitting that he is joining Grady Pilgrim. In creating our firm, my partners and I were definitely inspired by my dad's ideals and experiences in his career at Goldberg Kohn."
"It is such a privilege to practice law with my son after many years of watching him build his practice and, more recently, this new firm," added Stephen Bell. "I am proud of the path his legal career has taken and am excited to have the opportunity to once again participate in building a firm, especially side-by-side with my son."
