ISBA Central Discussions
ISBA Central communities allows section members to pose questions, answer questions, and share information with fellow section members. Members of the section get free access to the section’s community. Joining any section also grants you access to the Transactional and Litigation communities. Legislation
The Section Council reviewed 38 bills that may affect their members’ practice area. Highlights of the most recent legislative session include:
- House Bill 279 amends the Illinois Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act to provide that an oral drug is misbranded if gluten is included as an inactive ingredient and is not so listed on its label.
- House Bill 633 creates the Vegetable Garden Protection Act to provide for the right to cultivate a vegetable garden and permits state and local regulation.
- House Joint Resolution 33 creates the Illinois Good Food Purchasing Policy Task Force to study the current procurement of food within the State.
