The President's Celebration was held in honor of Shawn S. Kasserman the 2023-24 ISBA president, during the Annual Meeting on June 9, 2023, at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel on 1 West Wacker Drive. Attendees enjoyed cocktails, dancing, and entertainment.

Shawn S. Kasserman, a founding member of Tomasik Kotin Kasserman, LLC, in Chicago, was installed as president of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) on June 1, 2023, at the Illinois Supreme Court building in Chicago. President Kasserman is the 147th president of the ISBA.
On May 18, 2023, ISBA friends and colleagues gathered at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL, for the annual Member Appreciation and Recognition Reception. The 2021-22 ISBA Award Recipients were honored.

On April 20-21, 2023, the ISBA Family Law Section presented the Family Law Update 2023: A French Quarter Festival at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel, 500 Canal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana. Over 100 ISBA members attended the conference and enjoyed the region’s culture and cuisine!
